Nicaragua is shaking off a notorious reputation and embracing its new status as a hot spot for adventure, natural beauty and culture. As the tides change for the country, tourism has emerged as the second biggest industry. Filmmaker Alex Carigan shows us a glimpse of what it is like journeying through Nicaragua with his beautifully shot and edited footage showcasing the scenic countryside and the happy people he met along the way while hopping from one quaint town to the next. Just by clicking the play button we are provided with a peek at what waits in Nicaragua.
Alex documented every step of his way exploring this Central American nation known as the “the land of lakes and volcanoes”. From romping over glistening white beaches to sand boarding at a caldera of a volcano to breaking swells aboard a surfboard and submerging with the lovable creatures of the underwater, Alex travels to small charming towns in between to the embrace of the smiling locals. The motion scenes he captures presents us with a picturesque evidence at how Nicaragua grants us travelers – a new destination to experience new and wonderful things on the road. All the highs of his cross-country journey were all captured on his camera and documented perfectly on this three-minute video.
