While most camera review outlets are happy with testing new toys on their office rooftops, the team at DPReview takes every opportunity to take test equipment to a unique location to perform their field tests. Last week, they brought us with photographer Kyle Johnson to Washington’s Olympic Peninsula to test the Canon PowerShot G5 X while also improving their fly fishing skills.
This week, we journey to the tropical Yucatán Peninsula in Caribean Mexico, with DPReview Editor Barney Britton and the Field Test series director Eric Becker. The team brought a Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 IV, where they put the compact camera to the test in underwater caves and ancient Mayan ruins.
Check out the teams adventure and find out their opinion of this small, yet incredibly powerful, feature rich camera.
