Photographer and filmmaker Keith Loutit just shared his new film: The Lion City II – Majulah, which is nothing short of a visual masterpiece. This time-lapse film highlighting the sprawling beauty of Singapore took about three years of shooting over one million photographs. The brilliant editing translates into one of the best time-lapse films we have ever seen.
In the Vimeo description, Loutit says about his film: “When we pass by landscapes they appear fixed in time, but they change around us constantly. The idea behind this film is to reveal this change by returning to the same camera positions over the years.”
The film shows the dynamics of Singapore perfectly. Watch the flow of cars through the city’s arteries, the evolution of the city’s skyline and the skyscrapers being built… everything that makes the Lion City a must-see for everyone who travels to Southeast Asia.
