It’s no surprise that Instagram is the social media choice of young adventure seeking travelers and photographers. Tourism boards and travel brands embrace Instagram as a great way to connect with their community and promote the beauty of the world through small, square copped images, often re-sharing the work of their loyal community. We at Resource Travel are no different. With almost 1,000 followers, our young Instagram account is growing quickly, and it is thanks to our community of likeminded followers who share our travel itch and wanderlust dreams. By using our hashtag #ResourceTravel our community has taken us to Alaskan ice caves, down to the beautiful shores of Melbourne Australia, and kayaking on the pristine turquoise waters of Lake Louise in Alberta Canada.
Each Monday, we will share our favorite photos with the #ResourceTravel hashtag, so get tagging for a chance to be featured! But please remember to tell us exactly where the image was taken, as we like to make sure our readers add your favorite locations to their bucket list!
Before coming to #Alaska kayaking in ice caves was high on my list. Thanks to Anadyr Adventures for guiding such an amazing tour. One more from the trip to Nevada. I think what I miss most about living in Nevada is the smell of sage when it rains and the thunderstorms, dispite my dad being hit by lightning. That’s another story for another day. I really wanted to test out posting to IG from my Mac, so if you are seeing this it was a success. The full process can be found on Fstoppers.
s t r i a t e d | marin county, california ___________________________________ This past Sunday night at Mt Tam was one for the books. The fog rolled in fast and thick over the ridges, and the upper-level cloud cover made for a colorful sunset — pretty perfect if you ask me. It was great shooting the fog alongside @larrynienkark, @_jonathanmitchell_, @kristen.rankin and @kristinagate. My gear and I are off to the Eastern Sierra after work tomorrow for a four day photo bender. I can’t wait! #ig_fogaholics #sfbayphotos #sfbayarea #norcal #california #visitcalifornia #resourcetravel

It would be difficult to pick a favourite animal or photo from my Africa trip. I’ve been revisiting these photos lately, might be time to plan another travel adventure. #Travel #Travelstoke #Safari #Africa #Lion #KrugerPark #SouthAfrica #MatUStuds #ResourceTravel #Nature #Wildlife

Classic Tofino Moment. Spent our anniversary out here this year, my first time back in probably ten years, since college anyway. I always think I remember how beautiful it is here, and then I arrive and realize my memories never serve it justice. Looks like I’ll just have to go back again soon. Taken on a Sony a7ii with the 70-200mm lens, just after sunset. Underexposed slightly to get that summer haze. J’aime. #travel #ttot #tofino #explorecanada #sony #sonya7ii
