Happy Monday fellow travelers! I am currently in Norway leading a photo tour with my buddy Stian Klo from Lofoten Tours, but unfortunately, winter quite hasn’t come, as there is very little snow on the ground, although the light is amazing and the Aurora Borealis is above. So when I say Erik McRitchie’s unique view of a snowy Lake Louise in Banff, Alberta, I instantly felt the cold creep up my spine. Winter is indeed coming, my friends. Tell us which locations you are going to set out to discover this winter, and remember to keep tagging your Instagram photos with #ResourceTravel for a chance to be featured!

This is the shot that I have been dying to upload and literally one of the best reasons to visit Alice Springs! Meet Roger from the @TheKangarooSanctuary . I first met Roger about a year and a half ago and didn’t manage to get a good shot. He’s since gone viral and I’ve been dying to get back for another go! “Kangaroo Dundee”, yes from the TV show, runs the sanctuary and hand raised Roger as an orphaned Joey. Now Roger wants to fight him every chance he gets and it makes for some hilarious posing! @AusOutbackNT #NTAustralia A photo posted by Lauren Bath (@laurenepbath) on
Neuschwanstein in Germany is one of the most uniquely situated castles on Earth. Perched high up on a hill and surrounded by beautiful mountains, it is a rare sight to behold. #neuschwanstein #Germany #German #Bravaria #Munich #castle #Europe #European #Europeantravel #resourcetravel #travelstoke #NatGeoTravel #natgeoyourshot A photo posted by Brian Hammonds (@brianhammondsphotography) on
The behemoth below takes the cake for the largest bear I’ve ever photographed. From the size of it most people have been even more surprised to hear the bear is a female. A mother with three cubs, who she has kept around well into their third year, which was another first for me to experience. Her cubs were the size of most Grizzlies I photograph in the GYE. The four of them together are certainly a force to be reckoned with. It’s hard to imagine many bears get in their way. How much would you guess she weighs?

While @lovethywalrus was waiting for his opportunity to take selfies in front of Russell Falls and after @iso100_photography and @clairjulia_photography had packed up and left yesterday afternoon, I was busy checking out this beautiful waterfall from every angle possible, again. No matter how many times I visit this spectacular part of Tasmania I am always dazzled by how amazing it is. I could literally sit in front of the waterfalls in Mt Field National Park all day. I wonder if they will let me get away with setting up a tent and a temporary office here and just camping there for as long as possible. I will let you all know how I go next time 😜 Canon 5DMKIII w/ Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM & B+W ND10 @ ISO800 – 38mm – f/6.3 – 20secs . #discovertasmania #hobartandbeyond #seeaustralia #russellfalls #longexpoelite #resourcetravel #amazing_longexpo @tasmania @hobartandbeyond @australia @canonaustralia A photo posted by Jason 😎 Hobart, Tasmania (@tassiegrammer) on
